Brad Teare began his career illustrating for publications such as The New York Times and Random House where he did covers for authors such as James Mitchener, Alice Walker, and Anne Tyler. In the 90s he moved West to a small town in the Rocky Mountains where he maintains his painting and print studios. His work has appeared in diverse places such as American Artist and Gulf Connoisseur (Dubai) magazines. His work has been exhibited at the Parsons School of Design, Paris, France, the American Embassy in Warsaw, Poland, and The Forbes Galleries, New York City.
