The story of two of the most famous Grand Prix racing motorcycles from the 1950s. Firstly the awesome Moto Guzzi V8, - which is still regarded by many as the ultimate design of racing motorcycle, irrespective of age. Secondly, the bike that preceded it - Moto Guzzi's Bicilindrica V-Twin that won its last Grand Prix race no less than 17 years after it won its first! There is a full history of each bike, along with technical details and riding impressions of both machines -all illustrated with archive pictures from back in the day along with top-quality modern digital photography. Many of the modern photographs are technical close-ups of engines and chassis details as well as action from the track tests and at the Goodwood Festival of Speed where the bikes were demonstrated before 100,000 spectators. In addition, there is a new chapter for this second edition of the book with details of other Moto Guzzi GP champions and challengers - also illustrated with archive photographs and modern studio photography,
